Dana Austin is an award-winning Creative who lives by the mantra Magic Happens.
A successful Executive Creative Producer/Director with a rock-n-roll background, Dana connects the invisible dots and executes dynamic initiatives while remaining fluid in the worlds of production, music, surf, culture, marketing, wellness and philanthropy.
Dana began her career at Sony Music Entertainment Inc. where she toured the world and broke artists in the realm of Jennifer Lopez, Franz Ferdinand, Celine Dion, Incubus and Shakira. As a Post Production Producer for HBO she worked on classic shows The Sopranos, Sex & The City and Game of Thrones. Throughout her career Dana has developed visuals for SMEI, MTV, VH1, Epic Records, HBO, Spike, Entertainment Tonight, Sesame Street, NY Health & Hospitals, The Robin Hood Foundation, Partnership for a Healthier America, The President’s Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition and the National Fitness Foundation.
Dana is a recipient of the prestigious Time Warner Richard D. Parsons Community Impact Award when she was hand-selected by her colleagues from over 100 international nominees for her expertise as a Founding Board Member for HHPH 501c3. She has partnered with WSL, IHT Spirit + adidas, Omaze, Red Nose Day, PathWater, Seawolf Collective, PortalOne, Coachella, Planet Home and Mighty Under Dogs. She is a member of Save The Waves Coalition and has held board positions with global surf therapy organizations.
Dana is a certified yoga instructor trained in ayerveda, aromatherapy and reiki. She weaves sound vibration as a transformative practice into her daily life, for a deeper connection to Self as well as the greater collective.
Based in Los Angeles, Dana is in development and production on numerous Unscripted, Documentary, Animation, MiniSeries and Marketing projects.
In her spare time she can be found hanging out in downward dog, playing soundbaths and catching perfect waves. Yewww.
